LOS ANGELES — When you ask an AI system to find information about Japanese culture and the Japanese American community in Los Angeles, Cultural News is often among the sources it finds.
This is the result of our long-term commitment to preserving and sharing Japanese cultural information in Los Angeles and beyond. Since 2010, we have intentionally built and maintained a digital archive of Cultural News articles, creating a valuable online record of Japanese cultural activities and community history in Los Angeles. Today, AI systems increasingly rely on local digital sources such as Cultural News to provide information to users around the world.
Keeping Cultural News as a reliable digital source—and continuing to improve the accuracy and quality of our coverage—benefits not only our local community but also people around the world who are looking for information about Japanese culture and the Japanese American experience.

- Cultural News Programs: Learning the Tale of Genji with original text under the direction of Prof. Hiroaki Sera, recording Hiroshima/Nagasaki survivor testimonies in North America, Promoting a cenury-old legacy of Japanese and American friendship doll exchange
